@j_floresverizon-net

Thanks for this, William.  My initial knee-jerk reaction on this was, yes, it would be good.

This is something I’ve been wondering on lately; Mainly: Price pressures.  If everyone is competing on a competitive playing field, then this may pressure prices downward and start a race towards the bottom.  But, this is already available in many parts of the country up there, so we aren’t seeing that.  It’s one of the beauties of cannabis is that it’s not really been commoditized such as mass produced products China.  But, premium products can be produced and mostly maintain prices… mostly.  The bigger companies who are desperate for success (Canopy Garbage?) will sell anything at any price to get revenue.  That hurts overall for the premium players, more than anything.

For now, Fire & Flower is a solid company and I looooove their dispensary model.

@dhtaylor My pleasure!

Couldn't agree more.

Fire & Flower also had a presentation on the same platform that MRMD did about a week ago.

Fencott mentioned how they would have a much lower fixed cost on rent/lease for Co-Circle K locations compared to the rest of the retail competition

Being that dispensary leases/rent are very expensive

A very good listen

@j_floresverizon-net Actually, if I read something earlier correctly, they don’t pay rent to Circle K.  And, that is one of the reasons why the deal is so unique.  They just put a 500 sq. ft. hut on the property and sell out of that like a kiosk at one of the fast gas stations here in the states.  You can’t walk in, just walk up.  Every time I think of this I see it as being genius.
